Best Star Wars Novels

May the 4th is National Star Wars Day, when fans of the huge sci-fi franchise all celebrate the stories and movies that have been made. It often leads to fans watching the movies or re-reading their favorite novels such as those on Bookvus. Here are some of the top Star Wars novels that have been released.

Aftermath by Chuck Wendig

This book is the first of a trilogy that takes place just after the fall of the Empire. Initially, it follows many of the original characters along with a young X-Wing pilot called Temmin Wexley. It serves as a good filler for what happened after those iconic events in the movies, plus, it also moves away from the main characters and discovers new paths.

Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston

Ahsoka Tano has become a huge fan favorite since her debut in The Clone Wars and her appearance on the TV series, The Mandalorian. This book looks to flesh out her character a bit more, and show the reader what happened behind the scenes. Ahsoka looks to be getting her very own Disney+ TV show as well which will surely be a hit with the fans.

Battlefront: Twilight Company by Alexander Freed

If you have ever played the Battlefront video games, you will know all about this scenario. It puts the ‘war’ into Star Wars, and this particular book follows an infantry soldier Namir who has seen his share of fighting. He starts off just fighting for the money, but soon realizes that there is more to it than that. You can find this book on Bookvus.
